Why you should watch it:

Slightly more grown-up in its characters and storyline than most of the other movies featured in this list of movies like Harry Potter, Seventh Son is loosely based on The Spook’s Apprentice (USA title: The Last Apprentice: Revenge of the Witch), the first novel in British a dark fantasy series. Although the film received a largely negative review for its clichéd storytelling, it nonetheless has its share of enjoyable moments. A stellar cast and impressive set design along with the requisite fantasy character lineup of shape-shifting witches, dragons and werebears makes this a fun, if slightly predictable, watch.
